About Ellen Jordan
Ellen Jordan, PA-C is a board certified physician assistant who provides first-rate medical skin care services to patients of all ages at Easton Dermatology Associates. She practices medical dermatology treating common skin conditions including eczema and atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, and seborrheic dermatitis. She takes special interest in skin cancer screenings and discussing preventative photoprotective measures with her patients.
As an undergraduate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Ellen completed a dual degree in Spanish and Psychology. She went on to work or volunteer in various capacities for The Washington Free Clinic and the DC Rape Crisis Center in Washington, DC and Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital and the Community Care Center in Winston-Salem, NC.
Her varied experience earned her a spot in the Physician Assistant program at Duke University. While at Duke, Ellen was awarded the prestigious service-based National Health Service Corps scholarship. Graduation from PA school led her to the Eastern Shore, where she worked in primary care at a Federally Qualified Health Center. Her work with the Hispanic and migrant populations of Dorchester County was of special interest to her, and she is happy to conduct office visits in Spanish for Spanish speaking patients. Ellen has completed required training to become a Diplomate Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Ellen appreciates life on the Eastern Shore as it reminds her of her time growing up in North Carolina. She has learned to love a number of Eastern Shore activities including boating, crabbing, and exploring all the natural beauty the Shore has to offer. In her spare time she enjoys eating a good meal, traveling, and artifact hunting.
